Dennis Murphy- CPA, Joins 5 Alarm Fire & Safety

MR. DENNIS MURPHY has joined 5 Alarm Fire & Safety as Vice President - General Manager effective June 22, 2009. Dennis will be responsible for finance, human resources and IT and will be an active partner in the growth of 5 Alarm. Dennis comes from a distinguished background with a 150 million dollar division of Waste Management. During his tenure with WM, he led his team to accomplish revenue & profitability enhancements, critical integrations of processes and team building. Dennis holds a Bachelors Degree in Business Administration in Accounting from the University of Wisconsin, Eau Claire and is a Certified Public Accountant. Welcome aboard Dennis!

5 Alarm Fire & Safety Welcomes Back Jean Petoskey

JEAN PETOSKEY has re-joined 5 Alarm Fire & Safety as the Accounts Receivable Coordinator. She previously worked for 5 Alarm from December of 2000 until April of 2009.

New Addition to the 5 Alarm Fire & Safety Team

TIM LEYDEN has joined 5 Alarm Fire & Safety as our Hurst Jaws of Life Service Technician for the State of Indiana. Tim is a certified diesel mechanic and spends a great deal of his time volunteering in his local community activities. Tim is a Firefighter & EMT with the South Haven Fire Department and has logged over 180 hours of training per year. Tim received the Firefighter of the Year Award from his department in both 2007 & 2008 as well as the Iron Man Award for responding to over 300 calls in a year. Welcome Tim!!

ROB THOMPSON has joined 5 Alarm Fire & Safety as our Service Coordinator, effective April 26, 2009. Rob’s responsibilities will include coordinating our MSA, Hurst, Horton & MAKO service offerings throughout our 4 state region. Rob has spent the past 20 years in the press & printing industry responsible for sales, process control, domestic & international customer service. Rob is an active Firefighter with the City of Delafield Fire Department and is part of the Western Waukesha RIC Team. Welcome Rob!!

5 Alarm Fire & Safety Welcomes Back Brian Nichols

BRIAN NICHOLS has re-joined 5 Alarm Fire & Safety as the Service Technician for Wisconsin and Northern Illinois. He previously worked for 5 Alarm from 2001 until 2004 and was certified in MSA SCBA, MSA Instrument and Mako Compressor Service. He is a member of the Fort Atkinson Fire Department. He served in the US Marine Corps from 1985-1989 and has several years of experience as a Machinist at a number of companies in southeastern Wisconsin. Welcome Back Brian!!!

JON KRUEGER has joined 5 Alarm Fire & Safety as our Emergency Vehicle Sales Representative for Wisconsin effective February 23, 2009. Jon is a graduate of the University of Minnesota and holds a B.S. in Environmental Design/Landscape Architecture. His past accomplishments include Firefighter Basic, I and II. He is also trained in Hazardous Materials.

JEREMY WARE has joined 5 Alarm Fire & Safety as the North Eastern Regional Sales Representative for the state of Indiana effective February 2, 2008. Jeremy started in the fire service in 1999. His certifications throughout his career include state Certified EMT, Certified CPR Instructor and Firefighter Basic, I and II. He also holds certifications for NFPA Advanced Extrication, NFPA Building Construction, NFPA Instructor I and NFPA Hazardous Materials Operations.
